1. What is the Prime Citizen℠ Program?
The Prime Citizen℠ Program rewards account holders at www.republicoftea.com with Tea Leaf Rewards, which can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. Rewards are available on purchases made on or after March 29, 2017.
2. How Do I Earn Tea Leaf Rewards?
Tea Leaf Rewards are automatically credited to your account when logged in. You can earn rewards by:

Purchasing products: 10 points per $1 spent*

Creating an account: 200 points

Writing a review: 100 points per approved review (limit 5 per month)**
*Purchase rewards remain “pending” for 30 days to allow for returns or exchanges
**Review rewards are available within 48 hours of publishing
3. What Can I Redeem with Tea Leaf Rewards?
You can redeem points for discounts at checkout. Every 50 points = $1 off your order.
4. How Do I View My Points?
Log in and go to ‘My Account’ > ‘Prime Citizen℠’ to view your rewards balance and history.
5. How Do I Redeem Points?
At checkout, under the Payment Information section, you’ll see the option to apply your Tea Leaf Rewards toward your order total.
6. How Do I Refer a New Citizen?

Log in and go to ‘My Account’ > ‘Prime Citizen℠ Program’ > ‘Earn Points’ > ‘Refer a Citizen’

You’ll receive $10 off a $25+ order once your referred friend (a new customer) places a purchase through your link
*Rewards may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account
7. Why Are My Rewards Pending?
Points from purchases remain in “pending” status for 30 days to accommodate any returns or exchanges.
8. Do Auto Ship Orders Earn Rewards?
Yes! You’ll earn 10 points per $1 on Sip by Sip Auto Ship purchases. These points may take up to 5 business days to appear and will also remain pending for 30 days.
9. Do Tea Leaf Rewards Expire?
Yes. Points expire after 12 months of inactivity. To stay active, you must do one of the following at least once a year:

Make a purchase

Write a review

Refer a new Citizen who completes a purchase
10. Can I Earn Points on Past Orders?
Yes, as long as the order was placed on or after March 29, 2017.
11. What If I Checked Out as a Guest?
If you checked out as a guest, you can still receive points:

No account yet? Create one using the same email from your billing info

Already have an account? Points will be added automatically if the email matches
For Amazon Pay or PayPal, rewards are linked to the email on those accounts.
Points cannot be transferred between email addresses.
12. Why Were My Rewards Rejected?
Common reasons include:

The referred friend is an existing customer

Referral criteria were not met (e.g., they did not make a qualifying purchase)
13. Why Can’t I See My Points?

You must create an account to view rewards

Ensure the email used during purchase matches your account

Points won’t show if you used a different email or checked out as a guest without creating an account
